People move into depression, feel
sad about their situation and feel powerless. They don’t understand
“why this is happening to them” or “what they did to deserve this.”
Before you label yourself depressed - look at the word, Then begin to learn how to get what you want.
When a warrior faces
hardship, he/she takes a step back from their difficult situation and
thinks about it from a higher level.
They step back from their situation with
all its worries, anxieties, problems, and think about it from an overall perspective, then they ask themselves the question: what will
this ALL mean.
One of the main misunderstandings we can
have in this life is that if we do good, we should get good in this life
and hereafter. This is not entirely true.
This life is not the life we’ll get justice in.
This life is a life of duality; there’s
good and bad, justice and injustice, mercy and oppression, love and
hate, truth and falsehood..etc. Your role in this life is to live your
life according to how is best.
During times of hardship, it’s essential to remember there are effective ways to deal with any difficulty.
Here are 10 easy practical steps to help you face any difficult situation
- Routine.Whether it's a regular prayer time, or a definite time daily. for healthful exercise/activity.
- Read good. Be it a bible/Qur'an/or even a harmless comedy.
- Accept the need for change- and begin, even minutes a day.
- Give as much as you can, because it helps push away hardship. And if you can’t give money, even kind words or physical help (i.e. helping people physically or emotionally) - feed a wild bird or insect if you are allowed.
- Set Goals and Have Vision. Don’t let your mind play with you and keep replaying the video of your hardship in your mind over and over again, move on! Set a new goal or two, start one new project, and remember because you are with God/Allah-or whoever your choice of god/s are/is, nothing will really stop you!
- Wake up Early. Wake up a little early and work on your ideas and projects, or simply read. DO NOT READ THE NEWS-take a week or two off the normal media. Getting busy before day break is a definite way to move away from your hardship and overcome challenges.If this is a challenge-just begin 30 minutes before your previous awakening time.
- Hardship is Not Lost. Remember,hardship is an environment of learning, so don’t worry about so much about seeking revenge.
- Healthful consumption. Eat and drink well according to good practices - not the latest fad.The body demands it.
- Write on a piece of paper or in a private diary-what good happened today for you - each night.
- Develop an awareness of thankfulness, and keep on moving forward.
In the end, someone/something cares about you - so your job is to care about you while allowing others their freedom to grow as well.
