Earth Forest Program
Fund a tree, and save our planet.
Forests are one of the world’s richest and most productive ecosystems, containing half of all living species on the planet.
Their value is immense. As well as their beauty, the forests are a protector against the greenhouse effect, and they contain a genetically rich resource yet virtually untapped wealth of plants whose curative properties could benefit us all.
The sad reality is that destruction of our forests continues at an alarming rate. Throughout the world, forests are logged for precious hardwoods.
Others are bulldozed and burned to make way for large-scale farming, buildings, or industrial operations.
Forests once covered more than 14 percent of the Earth’s land area. They now amount to less than half of that at 6 percent,(UN sources).
At the current rates of destruction, only a few exclusive and tattered forests will remain alive in our lifetime.
We must act together to stop the destruction and save what is left for ourselves and future generations.
You can make a difference!
The Earth Forest Program is an important way many individuals and groups are making a difference in our world today. From only $35-$40 a tree, you can stake your part in saving one acre, one hectare - or more of nature's forest. Your contribution will fund your own gifted tree,- sourced, planted, and cared for throughout its life by our team of volunteers.To commemorate your positive contribution, you will receive a certificate documenting the number of trees you funded, with photographs, and text describing the planting. We'll also send you the satellite GPS co-ordinates, so you can show your friends and family.
For a small annual membership fee, we can keep you updated with your trees progress, and with your permission create a page on the WWW detailing the tree, your contribution and a few words from you.
Text advertising is usually OK.
You can also give them to others as holiday or birthday gifts, graduation presents and memorials. We'll handle both the tree, and the promotion part if you desire.
Groups: Earth Forest Program is a great project for schools, clubs and professional organizations. Participating groups have raised funds through a variety of projects, including car washes, Earth Day events and community cleanups. Creativity is encouraged. Share your great ideas with us, we welcome all.
Donors giving $200. or more will be posted on our Thank You page unless directed not to do so.
Please specify whether you are donating as a School, Business, Individual, or 'In Memoriam' of someone, or a pet- (you will receive an email contact address after you place your order); and whether the funds are to be applied to trees, program funding, or land acquisition.
Our criteria
Earth Forest Program works with small forest and tree reserves that are not currently being funded by the larger conservation organizations. We also donate fruit and food trees to needy families. Working with the local community, we negotiate substantial land purchases at a low per-hectare/acre price, or we just donate the trees - after they are planted, and guaranteed to be cared for.We select projects based on a number of factors:- the likelihood of maintaining the trees and forests in a good state, the degree of involvement of the local community, and the ability to preserve a continuous forest ecosystem, the value to the community, and more.
We actively support projects in both the northern and southern hemispheres of the world.
You are welcome to visit the land and trees, and experience first-hand the environments you are helping to protect and save: - as some of the areas are either private or protected, we do recommend some forward planning.

- To send the certificate as a gift, be sure to change your Mailing address during PayPal checkout and also note the name of the recipient under Special instructions, and course email us personally.
- If you need assistance completing a transaction, or any questions regarding donations, please contact us.
- Please allow 14-15 days for certificates to be sent. During the holiday and planting seasons it may take longer than other times of the year. You still will get confirmation of the receipt of your donation, and a thank-you. We do email you the certificates, with suggested printing specifications to enhance them.
Terms: Completed donation transactions are not usually refunded - we will hold the funds for 13 calendar days in case there was a mistake - after that they are not refundable at all, and we will use them as is decided.

Donations are through PayPal as a provider and they will accept your debit or credit card, as well as a direct bank transfer.
